Artist Information
Phuntsho was born in Bhutan.
He has been a Bhutanese traditional painter since 2007.
On 2018, he moved to Japan, founded Bhutanese Traditional Art Studio(BTAS BTA-Studio) and aim to build own style in a new world.
His paintings follow Buddhist teachings, also convey messages to make a better world. He believes that beautiful paintings can heal the minds just like beautiful flowers can heal them. It is his challenge to express the finest beauty throughout his life with honesty and respect.
